What do you do when the bottom feels like it drops out of your life?
Have you ever felt discouraged or depressed?
Have you ever found yourself sulking in defeating and despairing thoughts?
Have you’ve ever found yourself feeling out-of-control and out-of-touch with reality?
If you have, you’re not alone.
In today’s message, we take another incredible journey with the prophet-hero Elijah, who also experienced his fair share of discouragement and depression.
Gleaning from the words recorded in I Kings 19, Pastor Jeff speaks to us about those times when we find ourselves at the end of our proverbial ropes. As men and women of God, how are we to handle the despairing moments in life? What are we to do when we’ve had enough and don’t feel as if we can go on?

Elijah posed a question and a challenge to the people of his day: “How long will you waiver between two opinions? “If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”
What about you? Do you believe that the LORD is God and are you following Him, wholeheartedly, or are there man-made idols that you’ve elevated to a God status in your life?
Do you ever find yourself wavering between opinions and wrestling with maintaining your allegiance to the LORD?

If the generosity of your life were compared to the quality of a can of Coke, would your generosity be found to be full of fizz or flat?
God desires His people to have an effervescent spirit of giving that buzzes and whooshes with life. And yet for many, the generosity they dispense is anything but filled with flavor and fizz, it’s often lifeless, and stale at best.
Today, Pastor Jeff will open up a new message series that will encourage and inspire us to live a lifestyle of generosity that pleases God and is the “real thing”.
