Ask. Seek. Knock.
We have heard those words from Matthew’s Gospel about a thousand times! We know that God is ready, willing, and able to answer our prayers, but do we stand at the door long enough for God to open it and give us our answer?
Do we knock then leave without the door being opened? An unused door will end up with squeaky hinges!
Today Pastor Dennis will help us to understand the importance of having a prayer relationship that is both persistent and expectant, one that waits for the door to open every time!

If you were to look up “Faithful” in a thesaurus, you would find words like; Dependable, Devoted, Loyal, Steadfast, Reliable, Unwavering.
As we think about God’s faithful relationship toward us, each of these ideas hits the nail right on the head! But what about our relationship toward God? Does our “Faithful” look anything like God’s “Faithful”?
Today, Pastor Dennis, with the help of one of Jesus’ most famous parables, will help us to understand the importance of being Always Faithful.

Ladies Bible Study
Begins Tuesday, September 7 at 9:30a in the Student Ministry Center. We will be studying Genesis Part II (Chapters 25—50). All ladies of the church and community are welcome. Prayer time is at 8:50a each Tuesday in an adjoining room. Childcare is provided and is a shared responsibility.
Needed…Please Help!
We have an immediate need for more camera operators for 2nd and 3rd services. If you can look through a lens, you can do this job! Our team is getting short handed and we would like to fill these positions as soon as possible. If you are interested or would like more information please contact Pastor Brock or Kara Judy.
Grief Support Group
Don & Eunice Munn, grief counselors, are leading a support group for those who have lost a spouse. They meet at NWCOG every other Tuesday at 6:30p. If you would like to join them please sign up on your Connection Card including your name and phone number or call 834-4281.
Join A Choir…or 2
We have two choirs that you can be apart of here at NWCOG! The SANCTUARY Choir will be singing during 1st service. It is a more traditional choir that will sing with the congregation and then also do a special song on occasion. The WORHSIP Choir will be singing during 2nd and 3rd services once or twice a month. This will be a contemporary choir that will help lead the congregational singing as well. Join one or the other, or BOTH! If you would like to be involved with the choirs please contact Pastor Brock or Kara Judy.
