Neville and Anne Tan

Neville has been ill recently and they seek our prayers.  He was retaining water in his lungs, his legs swelled, and then a month or so later experienced profuse sweating and faintness, followed later still by some severe coughing.  He is having his heart checked as we write this update.  Yet their work goes on.  They did go to Cambodia in July to visit a church and bring encouragement (as well as toys for children!).  They also met with vibrant youth leaders as well and will return for leadership training in October.  On August 15 they celebrated their 30th anniversary of the church in Singapore with memories of purchasing the snake infested swamp land for the church in 1979 and then opening the church in August, 1980  with 6 adults and 5 children(including 4 family members). Now they have churches not only there in Singapore, but also in Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam and hopefully in Laos soon.
