Such a phrase may have been a humorous rouse directed at someone who would unceasingly stare at you, but not so funny of a phrase when used to describe the longevity of a couple’s commitment to marriage. Divorce is no laughing matter and its destructive longevity has a reach that goes way beyond the couple in the here and now.

That might be an accurate description for any a marriage along with the feelings of the husband, wife, or both. It is this overwhelming feeling that your marriage isn’t all that you thought it would be and now you feel stuck! So what are you suppose to do about it?
In today’s message, Pastor Jeff attempts to counter these feelings and answer such questions with poignant thoughts pertaining to the commitment of marriage that is rooted in Biblical principles.

Men’s Softball Games
NWCOG has 2 softball teams this season. Come and support our teams on Tuesday evenings at the CCAC in Warsaw. You can find the times of the games for Team A and Team B in the opportunities section of the worship folder. Hope to see you there! Come, cheer loud and support our men!
Summer Wednesday Evenings
June 23 – July 21 on Wednesday evenings Pastor Dennis will be leading the study “Walking As Jesus Walked”. Study time will be 6:45 – 8:00p. If you have any questions please contact the church office.

Combined Community Services
Tools for School 2010 will be held Thursday, August 12. Tools for School 2009 supplied over 1,700 children with school supplies. We anticipate an even greater need in 2010. Please help us by donating a book bag for any age student K-12 grades. You can drop them in the barrel near the Information Center.
SERVE Opportunity
We want to expand our Worship and Creative Arts teams! If you have any interest in playing the piano/keyboard, singing, playing an instrument, percussion, dance, drama, art, or any of our technical areas, WE NEED YOU!! Child protection training has been rescheduled for July 25 at 11:00a. Please contact the office if you have any questions.
Haiti Mission Trips
We are preparing to take two trips to Haiti this winter. We will build homes and work with orphaned children on each trip. There is still time to express interest yet this month. Interested folks can call Jeff Blair at 547-453-3158, contact the church office, or email: jeffblair87@gmail.com.
Nursery Help
Would you like to hold a baby? Laugh with a child? We need loving arms in the Nursery/Toddler area. Just take the Child Protection Training (CPT) class on July 25 at 11:00a and
sign up for one hour, every other month. Sign up on your Connection Card or contact Luann Wiggs in the nursery area.

We are always looking for volunteers! They are a vital part of the church’s ministry and we would love to welcome you to our team. If you are interested in volunteering in any of the following areas with a need please contact the church office.

Some areas have many openings with many different skill levels. Please let us know if you are even slightly interested and we will find a place for you!
We also like to make you aware of areas outside of our church that you can also participate in:

- North Webster Food Pantry Tuesdays 9-11am, Thursdays 1-3pm. Just show up to help or contact Wilma Mitchell 834-2221. Always in need of non-perishables and cash donations.
